Casino Resort Hospitality
Carlos Weekes oversees Ingenus’ casino/resort hospitality services, including hotel operations, food and beverage operations, and guest service. He has extensive executive-level experience in casino/resorts, restaurants, hotels, fast-food stores, stand-alone restaurants, and franchise operations. He is financially focused and results-oriented, with a diverse background and extensive food knowledge.
Weekes’ most recent positions were as Chief of Operations/Food & Beverage for Laguna Development Corporation, in New Mexico, and Corporate Vice-President for the Grand Casino operation of the Mille Lac’s Band of Ojibwa.
Throughout his 35 plus year career, Weekes has opened more than 15 Marriott properties in New York, New Orleans, Illinois, Minnesota, and Florida, as well as many casino properties and restaurants in Minnesota, Mississippi, Louisiana and New Mexico. He is known for creating operations that value teamwork, business excellence, peer accomplishments and guest satisfaction, and is at his best in these environments.
Weekes earned a bachelors degree from North Central College in Minnesota. In addition, he has studied extensively at the Culinary Institute of Greystone, California, in New Hyde Park, N.Y. and at the University of Minnesota.
